| The take down pin on my AMT II won't sit flush and align correctly. The pistol hasn't been fired and it's not damaged. My gunsmith can't even figure this out. Can anybody give me a suggestion. Do you know of any gunsmiths that work on AMT? |

Ian, This is a great site you have here, I check it frequently. I'm the guy that sent you the copies of "L.E.JURRAS' AUTO MAG NEWSLETTERS". I was hoping that by now someone would have stepped up and filled in the missing volumes that I don't have. Paul V. |

Awesome site... my collection includes Automags 2, 3, 4, & 5 in 22 Mag, 30 Carbine, 10mm Magnum, & 50 A.E. I've added slide pull knobs, B Square grip frame scope mounts, & scopes on the 3,4, & 5, along with the slide on fnger groove Handall grips... the "2" is a 6" barrel I reciently aquired, & its totally stock, the "4" has an 8" barrel & extends out 2" past the slide... both the "3" & "5" have at least a 1,000 rounds through each, & all work great... someday I'd like to be able to pick up an original 44 Auto Mag, but currently that would dip into shooting funds too deaply for a mostly collector piece... I'd be glad to offer up a few of my pics if anyone wanted them... |
