This website has been created to act as a resource centre for those wanting to see the return of pistol shooting within the United Kingdom for the purpose of sports.
What is the site for?
This site is just a place where people can come to find out information about the campaign for the return of pistol shooting, they will be shown resources that they can use to ask questions of their MP’s and government ministers. We will keep a track of the press and show articles that discuss the return of pistol shooting in the UK.
Why did you start the site?
I started this site because people that I am friends with did not know about the resources that they could use on the internet that can help them get in contact with MP’s, Government Ministers and the press.
How long will the site be running for?
This site will be up and running for as long as there is a need for it. As I have said we will act as a resource centre we will not be a centre to coordinate a campaign we will leave that to the professionals but we will list all of the different campaigns that are running.
Can I help?
Yes please do, I am only one person but if we all act as a body then with a bit of luck we can apply pressure to get the laws changed. If you have any ideas let me know and I will put them up for others to read as well.
Why don’t you leave it to the NRA, SAGBNI and other organisations?
This is a good question; not everyone is a member of one of the shooting organisations and as such is unaware of the campaigns that are going on, this site is not to replace any of the organisations but just to act as a place to document all the different threads together. All shooting organisations look to be getting campaigns ready and I hope that this site will supplement any work that is done.
